Refund Policy
Last updated
The Unblind pilot is free and does not bill you automatically. This page also explains how refunds will work for software subscriptions purchased through Paddle.
1. What this policy covers
This policy covers Unblind software subscriptions. It does not cover accommodation bookings, deposits, or services sold by a property host. For those payments, contact the host or booking provider directly.
The current 30-day pilot requires no payment card. There is no pilot charge to refund, and continuing on a paid plan will require your separate agreement. Paid checkout is not currently available.
2. Purchases through Paddle
For Paddle purchases, Paddle is the authorized reseller and merchant of record. Refund eligibility follows Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Refund Policy. Applicable mandatory rights and any greater protection you are entitled to remain intact.
Purchases are generally non-refundable unless applicable law or Paddle’s policy provides otherwise. Paddle may consider discretionary requests submitted within 14 days of a transaction; a request does not guarantee approval. Statutory withdrawal periods and exceptions depend on your location and circumstances, as explained in Paddle’s policy.
3. Cancelling a subscription
Cancel through your Paddle confirmation email or Paddle support. Cancellation stops future renewals at the end of the current billing period. It does not automatically refund an existing charge.
4. Requesting a refund
Use the receipt or subscription-management link in your Paddle email, or visit paddle.net and request a refund. Include the transaction reference and purchase email. Paddle processes approved refunds to the original payment method where possible, within 14 days of approval. Refunded product access ends.
For help identifying an Unblind purchase, contact hello@unblind.to. Do not email card numbers, passwords, or guest details. Tell us which Unblind plan or property guide is involved so we can help investigate.
5. Problems with the software
If you cannot access the service or an important feature does not work as described, email hello@unblind.to with a description of the problem. We will investigate and work with you on a resolution. Unresolved product defects can also be raised with Paddle. This policy does not limit applicable rights concerning faulty, misdescribed, or undelivered products.
6. Which terms apply
Paddle’s transaction terms prevail in a conflict. The refund policy applicable when you purchased governs that purchase, subject to mandatory law.
